Interviewed by Ceramic Erin

I answered a few questions for Erin Casey which she posted as an interview on her blog, CeramicErin. Ya’ll should go check it out.

Erin is a recent graduate, trying to find her way in the often wacky work of professional arts and crafts. From her Blogger profile, “I graduated in 2008 from the University of Northern Colorado (the other UNC), then earned a grant from the The Community Foundation Arts Alive! Fund to further my artistic growth. I’ve recently moved to the Denver metro area and I’m trying to figure out what the next steps are to make a living doing what I love — playing with clay.”

Find her on Twitter, visit her website or buy something from her Etsy store.

About pcNielsen
Paul Nielsen founded The Aesthetic Elevator late in 2005. He owns a piece of paper, located somewhere in his house (not on the wall), stating that he earned a B.F.A. from the University of Nebraska around about 2001. While there, he studied studied architecture, graphic design and ceramics, graduating with a degree in studio art. Paul presently serves as communications manager for a small non-profit doing their print design and marketing. He spends as much time sculpting in his studio as possible — which is not nearly enough.
