Art in church, another siting

I’ve posted about art in Lincoln Berean Church before. I’m back at the mega-church this weekend for a missions festival, and was surprised to see a Wayne Forte banner that I’m pretty sure was in Siloam Springs earlier this year at a John Brown University show.

Note the handcuffs, with key attached, at each of the bottom corners.

I might post some additional works from around the building if I find time to cameraphone capture them tomorrow morning. We’re driving home to Arkansas tomorrow after lunch.

Paul Nielsen founded The Aesthetic Elevator late in 2005. He owns a piece of paper, located somewhere in his house (not on the wall), stating that he earned a B.F.A. from the University of Nebraska around about 2001. While there, he studied studied architecture, graphic design and ceramics, graduating with a degree in studio art. Paul presently serves as communications manager for a small non-profit doing their print design and marketing. He spends as much time sculpting in his studio as possible — which is not nearly enough.
