Texas town for sale on Ebay

File this under “community planning?”

The town being sold on Ebay is named Albert. Apparently Lyndon Johnson attended school there as a child. It’s somewhere between Austin and San Antonio, although it’s not listed in Wikipedia, Epodunk or the glossary of my Rand McNally atlas. Google Maps seems to know where it is.

I’m guessing this is more of a country acreage than a town at this point. The population is listed on the Albert website as “4.” But who wants to live in Texas, especially for $4.2 million? Oop, now the bid is $5 million, bid number 118. I guess some people do want to live in Texas; my bad.

Paul presently serves as communications manager for a small non-profit doing their print design and marketing. He spends as much time sculpting in his studio as possible — which is not nearly enough.
